We’re glad to share the latest research published on JAWS about Closure of the Peritoneum in Laparoscopic Transabdominal Preperitoneal Inguinal Hernia Repair (TAPP) with Glubran2® and Glutack®.

This study, led by @JuanManuelSuarezGrau, and Dr. Laura Morales-Conde, Dr. Salvador Morales-Conde, Dr. Francisco Javier Padillo-Ruiz, compared a novel peritoneal closure technique using Glubran 2® with our microdroplet device (Glutack®) to the standard barbed suture closure method.

This study not only demonstrates the safety and efficacy of using Glubran2 for peritoneal closure but also highlights its potential to improve patient outcomes and recovery in laparoscopic hernia repair.
