The 2025 Program, developed through the synergy between GEM and Azienda Ospedaliero Universitaria Pisana, consists of four intensive training sessions, each lasting 2 intensive days in the Operating Room. The program is designed to enhance practical learning and support ongoing professional development.
Participants will have the opportunity to observe various procedures related to the management of Complex Abdomen cases through open, laparoscopic, and robotic approaches, depending on the clinical scenario.
Throughout the different surgical procedures, they will also have the chance to see GEM’s product portfolio in action.

Each appointment is reserved for a maximum of 6 participants to ensure compliance with the Operating Room capacity regulations.

For future participants, once your registration is accepted and approved, please follow these steps:
You will receive an email from our organizing secretariat requesting the necessary information to book hotel rooms. Additionally, GEM will arrange transportation to facilitate participants’ travel to Pisa.
Each appointment of the program follows this structure:
📅 Day 1 – Starts at 2:00 PM, concluding with a networking dinner attended by organizers, faculty members, and all participants.
📅 Day 2 – Begins at 8:45 AM and ends in the early afternoon.
