What a fantastic experience!
We had the opportunity, through the team of Dr Piero Buccianti, at the Pisan University Hospital, to carry out the first step of our #EducationItaly program.
In this first meeting we had the pleasure of hosting surgeons from Tuscany, Liguria, Umbria, Basilicata, Trentino and Friuli.
These events aim to act as a collector between the territorial needs at an Italian level and the high expertise of teachers such as Antonio Marioni, Giuseppe Canonico and Carlo Maria Neri to raise skills in wall surgery.
The project divided into two steps theory and practice allowed the learners to approach the various laparoscopic surgical techniques to remedy wall defects at different levels.

Continuing in the wake of professional education, our commitment as GEM will be to continue to intercept the needs of clinical and non-clinical stakeholders to be an integral part of the educational process and contribute to bringing value and clinical benefit to patients.
